Our Mission continued...

-We believe the Bible is the infallible and inerrant Word of God.

-We believe the pure and true doctrine for Christian living is found in the Holy Scriptures.

-We believe in the true and living God revealed in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

-We believe in Salvation, the work of redemption, through the Blood of Jesus Christ. There is no other substitute or alternative.

-We believe in santification, both instantaneous and progressiveby the redemptive work of the Blood and the progressive work of the Word.

-We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.

-We believe in the Devine Healing as a benefit of the Christian Family.

-We believe in the second coming of Christ.

-We believe that man was created in the image and likeness of God to have fellowship and glorify Him.

-We believe each born again Christian should strive andive a life of holiness to God.

-We believe in the five fold ministry of the church; Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, and Teachers.

-We believe that both Heaven and Hell is real.

 

Our History and Present

In 1978, Liberty Rock Church began with humble beginnings in the garage of member, Mary Sue Sloan. Under the pastoralship of Reverend Donnie Corbin. Liberty Rock eventually built its current building just outside of Crisfield's city limits. Liberty Rock opened its doors in 1981 with Pastor Donnie leading the people. In 1985, Pastor Donnie passed away, changing the members forever.

 

Pastor Nolan Ford has been leading the members since 2003. With his soft spoken demeanor and down to earth approach, Pastor Nolan has lead the church well into the 21st century including through some very difficult times. Though we may be few, we believe Pastor Nolan is God sent and will lead us on to God's plan for the Church.

 

Liberty Rock has a heart and passion for people and will continue to seek the Lord as we grow. We wlcome you with open arms and the love of the Lord.
